Getting to Her
Heavy gasps and pants escaped his lips as he continued his long run. His legs were tired; muscles aching from the gradual increase in fatigue. He pushed and squirmed his way through the many people, shouting "Excuse Me!" as loud as he could in that croaky voice of his, ignoring the many strange looks given from the surrounding men and women.
He was late. Way too late. He bit his lower lip. There was no one to be blamed for his delay. It was his entire fault. His stupid fault for being too preoccupied with his work that he had not notice it was already long past nine. When he had finally did, there was only fifteen minutes left to ten. Hence, the first thing he did was run out of his cubicle in the office and ran down eight floors instead of waiting for the lift. Not having an athletes' built, it was not surprising that he was wheezing badly after just a few mere minutes.
But he could not stop to catch a breath. There was no time for that. This was too important, far too important for him to be taking his own sweet time to his still far away destination. He could not miss this. He absolutely could not miss going over to see his beloved one. It was way past their meeting time, but he knew that she would wait for him. At least until ten…which now was only ten minutes away.
It was a moment of desperation; a matter of life and death. To him, she was like the bright sunshine after a heavy storm; the rainbow that colors the plain blue sky; the light found at every tunnel's end; the sweet brown chocolate chips embedded in every chocolate chip cookie!
He needed her desperately, like Romeo needing his lovely Juliet; like a tune that needed a lyric to be called a song; like a baby needing to suckle upon his mother's breast for milk; like Edward in Twilight that needed his precious Bella to continue his non-existent life!
There was nothing in the world that could stop him! Not even if his legs were to break down from over exhaustion. Not even if the sun refused to shine. Not even if there was a typhoon heading this way. Not even if someone held a shotgun directly over his heart. Not even if God decided to zap the world into millions of particles for some crappy reason! He was going to make it to Starbarks and meet the one and only love of his life no matter what! To him, nothing else had mattered if he could just smell that sweet acrid scent of hers tonight!
After pushing through the doors of his destination roughly, he collapsed in front of the counter, one hand clinging onto the counter top as his legs finally gave way. Running a whole two kilometers in less than fifteen minutes was no walk in the garden. Especially when he was not trained to run a marathon. A relieved smile carved onto his face. He could…at last…see her …
"Haha! Just in time for the last one! Here you go! Your plus-sized hot mocha with extra whipping cream on top; the usual!"
… His sweet, heavenly darling mocha.

Lick
Finger Lickin' Good - Soriku (This is not about chicken, XD)
Sora was walking down the beach one afternoon, when he spotted Riku. "Hey! Riku!"
After a moment, the silver-haired boy turned his head. He gave a simple nod and then returned his gaze to the sea. He didn't feel like doing much and when you got Sora started there's no stopping...unless you use flumes. But Riku liked the boy too much to do that sort of thing.
When Sora realized Riku wasn't coming over, he walked over and sat down next to Riku. "Hi..."
"What do you want, Sora?" Riku sighed, not at all trying to

I followed Riku out of pool and shyly walked towards the crowd behind him. Everyone parted as we went through, though one boy didn't move and he smiled at Riku. This must be Sora. The boy quickly went up to me, "Hi, I'm Sora."
"Uhh...I'm Roxas."
"Want to go out for pizza?"
"I have to ask my mom."
Riku chuckled, "No parent can resist Sora's charm. I'm pretty sure you'll be going."
I smiled, softly. It was nice to have friends...though it was strange how fast I had gotten them.
I was suddenly roused from my thoughts by a stabbing pain in my back. I yelped in pain and quickly I turned around to see a famili

Axel's house was only a block from the pool and very small. Axel had a bedroom in the attic and it smelled like...well it smelled like "Axel". I liked the scent very much and gladly sat on his bed when he invited.
Axel suddenly spoke up, "...You want to cuddle?"
I looked at him oddly, "Didn't I say I wasn't gay?"
"Ohh...I don't have many things here to do..."
"Then why the hell did you invite me?"
Axel sat up properly. "I'm just lonely sometimes...you want to talk about 'you'."
There he goes again...not that I don't like being asked about how I'm doing, but I didn't fully trust him, yet.

This made me laugh. How amusing that the "one" he is sacrificing so much for is a coffee!
